A Brief History
The idea for the Quansol Mitre System came about after countless attempts to find a user friendly, accurate and consistant way to cut tile trim (a straight edge designed to protect and border tiles, and typically made from aluminium, brass or PVC). Research into what other tilers around the world where using highlighted that I was not the only professional tiler experiencing difficulties in cutting mitres by hand (in particular mitres in metal).
Through research into other products on the market, it was also discoverd that tilers were not alone, and that many other tradesmen, hobbiests, and DIY enthusiasts were also searching for a better way to cut mitres. It was clear that the traditional 'Hand Saw Mitre Box' was in need of innovation.
The answer to the problem seemed simple!
People wanted a Mitre System with the ability to hold firm any shape or profile. They wanted professional quality that was designed for every day use and wouldn't wear. A system that was accurate, portable, fast and easy to operate by any user.
Eighteen months later and endless hours of research and development, The team where proud to launch into the New Zealand market with the very first 'Quansol Mitre System'
Although the Quansol Mitre System has only been on the market for a short time, sales results and feedback has been fantastic! (Testimonials).
