We do not pass on any of your information to anyone else. We will use your personal information only for the purpose you gave it to us. From time to time we may send you product information (including special offers) in the mail or by email. If at any time in the future you wish to remove your name from our customer list you need only to ask. As required by the Privacy Act 1993 you may also check and correct the accuracy of personal details at any time. To do so please contact us on (06) 357 9614, or fill out this form.

We may share non-personal, non-individual statistical or demographic information in aggregate form with our marketing partners.

When you purchase from Quansol we will contact you via email to confirm delivery. We may also contact you via email or phone if we experience any problems with processing your order.

3. Orders and Payment

Products may be ordered by following the instructions on the browse products page of this site.

You must pay by credit card. Your credit card details are delivered immediately to a secure ecommerce server and our bank immediately debits your card for the cost of the items ordered and any applicable delivery charges. If Quansol is unable to deliver any items, your card will be credited with the full cost and delivery charge for that item debited when the order was placed.

Accepted credit cards are: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate
fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to
New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.

4. Security

Quansol will provide you with the most secure shopping technology available to us. When you use your credit card on our website, we do not save that information - it is passed directly to the bank through a secure server that uses Secure Sockets Layer software (SSL) to encrypt the information that you enter. This technology is designed to prevent any unauthorised viewing and downloading of your order information.
We also use the security number on your credit card to ensure the person shopping is in possession of the correct card.

5. Security Code

The CSC (Card Security Code) is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on your credit card, but is not part of your credit card number. The CSC is also known as the Card Verification Code (CVC) by Visa, Card Validation Code (CVV) by MasterCard, or Card Identification Number (CID) by American Express. The CSC is an extra security feature of your credit card. It is not contained in the magnetic stripe information, nor does it appear on sales receipts or billing statements - you must have the card in your possession in order to use this code. Card security codes are not raised (they are only printed), so they are not scanned into standard credit card readers. In theory, these numbers are only visible to you. When you give your card security code to a merchant, you assist the merchant in verifying that the order is being placed by you, the card holder.

Visa / Mastercard
In the signature box on the back of your card you should see a 16-digit credit card number followed by a special 3 digit code that is non-embossed. This 3 digit code is your CSC. In some cases you may see the last 4 digits of your card number with the additional 3 digit security code following.

American Express
The card security code for your American Express card is a four-digit card identification number located on the front of your credit card, to the right of, and above your main credit card number.

8. Taxes & Customs Duties

Import duties and/or taxes may be imposed by your local government on shipments from outside your country. Customs Sticker
Quansol is required by law to declare an accurate monetary value on all non-New Zealand shipments. We are unable to honour any requests to suppress the value of an order on the customs sticker.

GST
A Goods Service Tax (GST) may be applied to certain items shipped to a New Zealand destination. The total GST charges (if any) will be calculated for you before you place your order.
